A real person, day or night
This number is staffed around the clock, every day. The first call gets a person, not a queue that opens at nine.
Nothing to pay for being connected
This service is free to the homeowner. You are never invoiced by this site — the only money that changes hands is between you and the contractor you hire.
You are connected to a licensed local contractor
You are put through to an independent contractor who holds the license this trade and state require and who actually works in Washington. Ask to see the license and the certificate of insurance before work starts — any contractor worth hiring expects the question.
Not the right contractor? Call again
You are not stuck with the first name you are given. Call back, say it was not a fit, and ask for another. That is what the line is for.
What this page does not promise
These are commitments about a connection, not about construction. The contractor is an independent business and the job is their contract with you — so get the scope, the price and any workmanship guarantee from them, in writing, before work starts.
