Our story

How Washington Porta Potty Rental works

Washington Porta Potty Rental exists so that an event host, a site lead or a builder can describe a job once and be connected to a local provider that can carry it out. The call takes the spot, the dates, the crowd or crew size and whether food or alcohol is served. Those facts decide the count, the placement and the permit route, so they are asked first.

The service covers the District and the towns across the Potomac and the Maryland line that are listed on the areas page. Each job is served by the nearest local provider that is free for the dates, and the call says which one.

This site does not place, deliver or service any unit itself, and it does not audit the paperwork of the provider it connects you to. Those duties belong to the provider.

Who does the work

A licensed local company attends the job, and the call line does not

Washington Porta Potty Rental is a call line. It takes requests for portable toilets, accessible units and handwash stations in the District and the nearby towns, and it passes each job to a local independent company that is licensed for the work. That company delivers, sets, services and collects the units, and it answers for its own quote and equipment.

The licence number is given on request by phone, and it is not printed on this page. The number is left off the web for privacy reasons, and the provider will give it to you on the call before you book.

Values

What we hold ourselves to

Ask before quoting

The count, the spot, the access and the route are worked out from your facts before a price is confirmed.

Plain permit guidance

We name the office that governs a space and what it asks for, and we say where the sources do not publish a rule.

The plan as the record

Units go on the site plan that the permit file uses, so the plan and the job agree.

Honest about gaps

Where a figure or a rule was not found, the site says so rather than filling the gap.

Service standards

Our promises on every visit

  • Counts are set from headcount or crew size, event length and whether food or alcohol is served.
  • At least 20 percent of units at a District special event are accessible, with one at each location, as the 2026 MSETG guide requires.
  • Units on public space are shown on the site plan with their location and dimensions.
  • Handwash stations sit beside the food areas and the unit clusters.
  • Waste is hauled by a permitted hauler and taken to the approved place at Blue Plains.
  • Placement on a public way or on DC Parks land follows the permit for that space.
  • Prices are confirmed for the site before delivery.

The provider sets the price for the site and confirms it before delivery.

Is the provider a company I can check?

Yes. Ask the provider for its licence details on the call, and check them before you book.
